Welcome to Aftermath! In this play-by-post, post-apocalyptic RPG, almost all the humans in the world have died out since Y2K happened in the year 2000 AD. Everything was destroyed, save for one: the city of New York, which was protected from the apocalypse because of a recent breakthrough in science that was only developed a mere week before everything was obliterated inside one of the most advanced facilities in the entire world. This Laboratory managed to save the entire city, and even the hope that humans may come back and begin to re-populate the city. Now, the small selection of humans that had been chryogenetically frozen inside are, one by one, waking up from their immortal sleep with no memory of their former lives and incredibly heightened senses to find a half destroyed world awaiting them. The year now is 2099 AY2K, and their lives have just begun.

Absence Notices Inactive members are deleted if they're not seen for more than two weeks after joining, or if they've already been active for two weeks, one month. It's in the rules. But if you're having trouble with computer access, or you're going on vacation, just let us know and we'll just wish you luck and miss you 'till you're back! So don't forget to report if you're going to be absent.
